Key points of this route
- First, go out the south exit and head west to a large intersection (Nishi-Shinjuku 1-chome)
- Continue along Koshu Kaido, crossing several traffic lights, and after crossing the Nishi-Shinjuku intersection, turn right and go left at the intersection of Capitol South.
- Shortly after that, you'll see the Shinjuku Washington HotelMain Building on your immediate left along the road.

A. Route from the South Exit of JR Shinjuku Station
In front of JR New Shinjuku South Exit ticket gate
After exiting the Shinjuku Station South Exit ticket gate, please continue on a little further and exit onto a large street called Koshu Kaido.

The street in front of you is Koshu Kaido. Please turn right (west) on this. From here, you will be on a common route.
B. Route from the Koshu-kaido ticket gate of JR Shinjuku Station
In front of the Koshu-kaido ticket gate at Shinjuku Station
Go out the Koshu-kaido ticket gate of JR Shinjuku Station.
From Koshu-kaido ticket gate to south exit
A large street called Koshu Kaido crosses in front of you, so please cross the street at the pedestrian crossing. From here, you will take the common route.

From Shinjuku South Exit, go west along Koshu Kaido
Please go west along Koshu Kaido. It's a little downhill.
First intersection (Nishi-Shinjuku 1-chome)
There is the first major intersection (Nishi-Shinjuku 1-chome). You will see an orange building with First Kitchen on the front right. Please continue along Koshu Kaido.
Family Mart (company)
There is a Family Mart on the way.
Nishi-Shinjuku 2-chome intersection
After passing Family Mart, you will come to the intersection of Nishi-Shinjuku 2-chome. (The hotel information signboard in the image is currently not posted.)

Cross the Nishi-Shinjuku 2-chome intersection and you will see a large information sign. It takes about 3 minutes from here. (The hotel information sign in the image is currently not posted.)

The next intersection is the Nishi-Shinjuku intersection. You will see the Morinda Building in front of you. Cross the light, turn right, and go left without crossing the intersection of Capitol South.

Shortly after that, you’ll see the Shinjuku Washington HotelMain Building on your immediate left along the road. Check-in procedures will be handled at the specific building where you’re staying. If you’re staying in the New Wing, please walk through the Main Building to reach the New Wing.

Take the escalator to the front desk on the 3rd floor of the main building
The front desk is located on the 3rd floor. Please take the escalator to the 3rd floor.

Do not take the escalator, but go to the connecting corridor at the back.
There is a connecting passageway to the new building at the back of the escalator.

New Annex Entrance
This is the entrance to the new building. Once inside, there is an elevator.
