Washin-Don

Featuring Miyagi Salmon as the main ingredient, we have created Washin-Don, a beautifully layered serving of seafood and mountain delicacies inspired by the flavors of Miyagi.
Enjoy it served over freshly steamed rice, with your choice of aromatic condiments.

point1

Salt grilled silver salmon from the sea of Miyagi / Sendai Misoyaki Grilled Salmon

This super salmon is fed a diet of carefully selected herbs in the clean, nature-rich waters of the Minamisanriku Rias coast.
"Misoyaki" is a technique of grilling the fish miso, Sendai Miso in this case. (The same fish with different seasonings is served differently each day.)

point2

Ox Tongue Curry

Sendai is famous for its ox tongue.
Ox tongue is simmered until tender, while the vegetables are stir-fried to bring out their sweetness. This is a mildly flavored curry that even children can enjoy.
Beef tongue curry" that melts in your mouth

point3

Miyagino Natto

Simple, honest natto (fermented soybeans made with techniques that have continued since 1920. With nothing added and nothing taken away, savor the classic flavor and aroma of this simple natto .
It has been loved by many customers over the years because of its simple, honest flavor.
The container is filled to the brim to prevent the natto from drying out and retain its soft texture.

POINT 4

Hitomebore Rice from Miyagi Prefecture

Literally meaning "love at first sight," this rice variety was given this name because it is so delicious that you will fall in love with it as soon as you encounter it.
In June 1991, Hitomebore was selected from among more than 38,000 entries received from all over Japan.
With the Hatsuboshi variety as its father and Koshihikari as its mother, Hitomebore was bred to suit Miyagi's climate. It is characterized by its excellent balance of stickiness, luster, umami, and aroma.
