Introduction of Fukuoka City Lodging Tax】
Fukuoka City will introduce a lodging tax as a non-statutory purpose tax from April 1, 2020.
The tax rate per night per person is as follows:
・Persons paying less than 20,000 yen: 200 yen (including 50 yen prefectural tax)
・Persons paying 20,000 yen or more: 500 yen (including 50 yen prefectural tax)
Please note that the hotel may charge the tax.
