As part of the development of a child-care-friendly living environment, Iwaki City is promoting the creation of an environment where families with babies can enjoy going out with peace of mind by certifying and registering facilities where families with babies can stop by for nursing or changing diapers, calling them "Baby Stations," and publicizing them widely. This is part of our efforts to create an environment where families raising children can enjoy going out with peace of mind.
It is a facility with space and facilities (nursing room, crib, etc.) for both "breastfeeding" and "changing diapers" that can be easily used by families with babies.
The city certifies and registers these facilities after receiving applications from each facility.
Baby Stations" provide a place to breastfeed and change diapers, and in facilities that do not have a dedicated room, a temporary space such as a spare room is provided.
