[Important News] Regarding the Leak of Customer Information

It was confirmed that notifications directing customers who had made reservations at facilities operated by Fujita Kanko Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President, and CEO: Nobunori Yamashita) and group facilities (franchises) (hereinafter referred to as “these facilities”) to a phishing site (*1) had been sent. However, an investigation revealed that information regarding some customers who had made reservations at these facilities through an external reservation management system (Temaizuru Co., Ltd.“TEMAIRAZU Series,” hereinafter “the reservation management system”) that information regarding some customers who made reservations at these facilities may have been leaked. *1 “Phishing site” refers to a fake website disguised as a real one, used to fraudulently obtain personal or financial information through deceptive means.

2. Background
On Tuesday, September 22, we confirmed through a report from a customer to our facility Contact usthat notifications had been sent to some customers directing them to a phishing site (*2).
Furthermore, our investigation confirmed that an unauthorized login to the reservation management system occurred as a result of a cyberattack, and there is a possibility that the personal information of some customers was leaked.
Please note that, as of now, there have been no reports of financial losses.
 
We are continuing to investigate the matter in detail. We will report promptly as soon as new facts are confirmed.

3. Request to Customers
If you receive any suspicious communications (such as emails or messages) claiming to be from this reservation management system or an accommodation facility, please do not reply, click on any URLs or links provided, enter personal information such as credit card details, or make any payments or money transfers. Additionally, when confirming your reservation details, please contact the official customer service department of the accommodation facility where you made your reservation or the official accommodation booking site at Contact us.

In the unlikely event that you have entered your credit card information or other details on a suspicious website, please contact your credit card company immediately. Please note that the system responsible for this incident does not process or store credit card information.
