The catchphrase "Tsuyahime," a brand of rice from Yamagata, has become a nationwide phenomenon.
In Yamagata, a rice-producing region, delicious rice is grown in a unique basin climate with a large temperature difference between morning and evening, and is further nurtured by the skills of master farmers.
We at Gaslight would like to offer our guests a taste of this "Tsuyahime" as well.

The best way to enjoy this dish is with a generous portion of Yamagata dashi, which has also become famous throughout Japan, on top of the rice.
