Sustainability Initiatives

At WHG Hotels ( Washington Hotel, Hotel Gracery, Hotel Tabinos, and Hotel Fujita), guided by our corporate philosophy—“To contribute to the realization of a vibrant and prosperous society by providing wholesome places of relaxation and warm service”—we have regarded “environmental initiatives” and other such efforts as essential to our sustainable growth as a company and have been actively advancing them. These initiatives align with the principles of the “SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals),” which aim to realize a sustainable society.Moving forward, WHG Hotels will continue to strive to resolve social issues and realize a sustainable society through our business operations, thereby contributing to the achievement of the SDGs.

To reduce environmental impact and create a recycling-oriented society,
we aim tobe a corporate citizen that is friendly to people and the earth.

Since our founding, we at Fujita Kanko have operated under the corporate philosophy: “We aspire to contribute to the realization of a vibrant and prosperous society by providing wholesome places of relaxation and warm service.” Guided by this philosophy, we have recognized “environmental initiatives” and “initiatives addressing diverse values” as essential and vital to our sustainable growth as a company, and have actively pursued them. These initiatives align with the concept of sustainability, which aims to realize a sustainable society.Moving forward, we will continue to strive to solve social issues and realize a sustainable society through our business operations.

What are the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals)?

Adopted at the UN Summit in September 2015, it is an international goal to be achieved by 2030 and consists of 17 goals and 169 targets to eradicate poverty and realize a sustainable society. All stakeholders, including companies, governments, and NPOs, are expected to work together to implement this plan.
